Update Feb 10, 2023: The owner replied and asked me to call. I spoke with them and explained what had happened, the expectations and that I had been referred by others with great experience. They did refund the hour of labor that I shouldn't have been charged and apologized for the experience. I thank them for paying attention to their customers, and wanting to right a wrong. I have to start with my experience was Horrible. It seemed that it was going to be alright with scheduling. But I dropped my vehicle off the parts for the repair I was quoted for. I didn't need their warranty so I wasn't worried about spending the extra money to buy from them. I also asked for the annual vehicle inspection after the work was done. I had a check engine light, which was the purpose of the repair, the vehicle wouldn't pass an inspection with the specific code. The mechanic decided to give the car a "courtesy inspection" before performing any work. I don't even know what happened there, then proceeded to dismantle the car. As he encountered a problem, instead of calling me, cut wires to sensors trying to remove a component. Then they called me, trying to tell me I needed more parts than they originally quoted me which would have raised the cost over $1000.00, I'm sorry but no way. I asked them to just stop what they were doing, reassemble the car and I would pick it up. When I asked the office for my keys I was told they figured at the least I owed the $155.00 for an hour of labor after the mechanic had spent so much time. I was appalled but in a rush and needed the car gone from there. I don't know why I was being charged for an inspection that should have been done after repairs or for a mechanic that now made my car worse than when I brought it and have to spend more money else where. I will never recommend or repeat business in this place or suggest it. Clearly they take advantage of any situation they can.
