First time I’ve been to Light House. I read the reviews online, and I decided to give them a call. My appointment was scheduled for the same week I called! They were considerate by squeezing me in. I own a 2017 Subaru Outback, and I was tired of making the trip to VA to the dealer’s service center. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The mechanic who took care of my vehicle was the same. He took the time to tell me honestly that I still had tread on my tires, and could hold off until my next oil change to purchase them. I was given a quote for new tires, which was less expensive than another shop in the OBX for the same tires (apples to apples). I was very happy with my service, and will definitely be using them again!! Thanks Light House!! Ps. A hopping, busy place! That should tell ya something! :)

Always the best service on the Outer Banks

As always, David Light and his whole crew did a fantastic job!

Lighthouse is the best! My Mini had been making a noise so I took it in. David could not get the car to make the noise and invited me to come drive around to duplicate it. Of course the car would NOT make the noise. They kept the car for two days, looking at EVERYTHING - they gave me a complete list of everything they checked and declared the car safe to drive to Raleigh.

These folks are a cut above the normal for auto repair experiences. They are pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and honest. I personally witnessed them working long after the shop was closed to get people back on the road who, like me, were in a but of a pinch time wise. I do not have any basis of comparison with other local shops but you definitely couldn't do better.
