DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Guy told me his back hurt and he couldn't get under the vehicle to look at it...Not a new business, same PEOPLE, new name. However, they take no responsibility for their own work. They overcharge and have no care or concern for their "customers"...I wouldn't bring my vehicle back here even if they offered free work...
We apologize for your unfortunate experience with American Automotive. Upon looking further into your past repair in August of last year, the computer that was replaced had a 1yr warranty. If you had returned to us when you started having issues we could have honored the warranty (we did guide you in the right direction to get another replacement computer under warranty) but you chose to go to another shop for the initial repair. That shop should have told you to return to the shop that had performed the original work, instead they profited off of a repair that would have been covered under warranty. We are NO LONGER Pughs Car Care, but we do take pride in ourselves in employing and advertising the same experienced mechanics. American Automotive still honors any parts warranty that was performed under the previous business. Thank you and have a great day... In response to your most recent issue, the vehicle that was brought in was beyond repair due to vandalism due to wiring harness and the Bronco that was brought in due to a clutch issue, the windows were busted out, and glass all in the interior.
