American Automotive got me in on short notice when they were already quite busy and did an incredibly thorough job diagnosing my car trouble (even researching the problem and providing me with their findings!) I was very impressed with their services and kindness.

Our rental vehicle had broken down on our way to our vacation in Kitty Hawk NC and from the first phone call they absolutely were so kind and the most helpful. Also said if they could not fix it then they would able to find someone to take care of it. So went there and they had other vehicles in front of us but they took care of us in timely manner. The mechanic came out and talked to us personally. Fixed our vehicle within the exact time they said they would possibly be done with it and then before they gave us the car back they took it for a test drive and then gave it back. So if anyone runs in to the same situation unfortunately I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE. OH AND BTW THE DOG WAS AS SWEET AS THE PEOPLE 😁😁😁.

Dropped by to see if I could get an appointment to have a very slow tire leak checked. David said let's check it out now and I was out of there in less that 30 minutes with tire fixed.

A part we needed for truck was no longer made. The mechanic thought he remembered seeing one at their junk yard, gave to us free. Only charged small fee for labor. Friendly staff.
